<p>Hey everyone. I was wondering if someone could help me out? I hope this doesn't make me sound stupid. I'm really interested in becoming a drug and alcohol counselor or something along those lines. I have no clue what I would major in though to become that? Could someone tell me what would be the best major? Thanks!</p>
<p>I would major in any of the social sciences: Sociology, psychology, etc. If your end goal is to become a drug and alcohol counselor, make sure you recognize the “limitations” (financially) of such work. If that isn’t a both, then sociology and psychology would be a great double-major to pursue.</p>
