I got my schedule class and in 11th grade we have 2 histories 1 semester of American gov't and 1 semester of Mod Trad/Cultures. With my schedule is now I have Both of them in the same semester, Most people have 1 of them 1 semester and the other 1 the following semester. The only way I could have then different semesters is by Switching 1 of them with my 2nd semester study hall. Should I schedule both in 1st semester or in different semester? I play sports in winter and fall, and yea. Need your input on this.

Okay, number 1: You NEED to learn to read your posts before you post them. I had to read your post 3 times to understand what you’re saying. A little self-editing goes a LONG way.

Number 2: IIRC you said you were not strong in history, right? If that is the case you’re probably better off doing 1 and 1 rather than both in the fall. How long is study hall (hours/day or hours/week)? With proper time management you can easily make up that time at home.

AwesomeOpossum - Yea but this year I am taking regular history as supposed to honors history which I could not handle. Study hall is 5 days a week for 40 minutes.

Yes but if it still a weak subject would you really want to do double-duty in one semester? Just pointing that out. As for study hall, 40 minutes a day can easily be made up at home during the week, or by devoting an extra 3.5 hours to homework on the weekend (although I suggest spreading it out during the week if you really need the time. Procrastination is bad.)

After talking with counselors I decided to take both social studies classes in separate semesters.
