I'm in a middle of deciding which university i want to go
My first choice has not responded yet, but the second deadline to make deposit is near.
What happens if i say yes and make the deposit money and then cancel if my first choice answers?
May i switch?

<p>You really need to give more information if you hope to get good advice. I looked at your posting history and see that you are a transfer student, so I have moved your thread to the correct forum. </p>
<p>Also, the answer to your question is different for fr and transfer applicants, thus the importance of detailing your situation. Unlike fr admissions, decision notifications and SIR deadlines are not uniform for transfer applicants. Because of this, transfers often need to do some combination of the following:</p>
<ol>
<li><p>Ask a school for an early decision.</p></li>
<li><p>Ask a school for an extension of the SIR deadline.</p></li>
<li><p>Put a deposit at one school while waiting for the decision from another. This is fine, but you may lose your deposit if you decide to attend another school.</p></li>
