NEED IDEAS FOR MORE EXTRACURRICULARS

Alright, so here’s a list of my current extracurriculars. I would like some feedback about what kinds of activities I should do for better chances of Ivy League (ED) admission. Remember, I am currently a sophomore (Pre-IB), and will be starting the IBDP next year (diploma + 7th additional certificate subject).
Also, note that I live in a country where there aren’t many college-admission-oriented extracurriculars, competitions etc.

Work experience:

  • Internship at advertising agency
  • Internship at national opera house (creative department)

Summer Activities:

  • Japanese Language Institute in Tokyo (summer language program)
  • National Societal Youth Development Program (created a concept that tackles national housing crisis)
(- will be attending a university high school summer program next summer associated with social sciences)

Hobbies:

  • Tennis (10 years)
  • Piano (5 years)
  • Debate club
  • Red Cross event volunteer work
  • Human rights advocation at local Amnesty International student group
  • School newspaper

Other:

  • The Junior Academy Class of 2016-2017: created a scientific model that determines micronutrient deficiency in an electricity-free, developing country environment
  • Bicentennial Ambassador & member of the New York Academy of Sciences
  • DELF: Diploma in French studies - A2 (will be doing B1 during IB1, and B2 during IB2.
  • Russian language scholarship awarded by the National Russian Culture Association for success in Russian Language studies.
  • Will be attending the United Nations Youth Assembly at New York

So I’m just asking for general tips for what kinds of other extracurriculars should I pursue, for future college applications (that would be seen as good for Ivy League/Columbia ED admission)

Thanks beforehand

lol, you have enough already! Personally, I would consider innovating something. Perhaps, starting a small business or starting a club. That’s what schools truly look for, students who they feel will make contributions to their school beyond academic work, and can create rather than regurgitate.

Yeah, you definitely don’t need more extracurriculars. Just focus on the activities that you’re especially passionate about and make sure your grades & test scores are up to par.

And of course, don’t forget, activities are meant to be for your own enjoyment, not just getting into college

You seem to have a pretty good list. An extremely easy EC would most likely be Civil Air Patrol. It’s only once a week (usually) and helps with fitness and discipline.

However you say Also, note that I live in a country where there aren’t many college-admission-oriented extracurriculars, competitions etc.

If you don’t live in the US just completely disregard my info.

Quality over quantity!
