Need information on transferring to Wesleyan

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I was just wondering if anyone could help me get some questions answered.</p>

<p>I'm currently an undergraduate student at my local college. I plan on transferring to Wesleyan for my Junior (2012-2013) & Senior year (2013-2014).</p>

<p>Will Wesleyan check my high school GPA as well as my college GPA at the time of transfer?</p>

<p>Also, I understand that Wesleyan doesn't have core curriculum.
Am I correct in saying that students at Wesleyan don't start on their declared major courses until their Junior year?</p>

<p>I plan on majoring in Music at Wesleyan, so when I arrive as a Junior, will I immediately begin on my declared major courses?</p>

<p>In terms of finishing your major, Wesleyan does not have any graduation requirements outside of your major requirements (which sometime include some Gen Ed. stuff), so you should be able to begin your major courses.
