@jagrren That program sounds amazing! Unfortunately, that school size is just too small. We are really targeting schools that are 5,000 and above. The smaller ones are smaller than our local public high school and that’s just a no-go for her.
Marist was founded as a Catholic School - not sure how “Catholic” it is vs. BC, Georgetown, St. Bonaventure, etc. but definitely not Non-Secular.
Seconding the recommendation for McDaniel, which is wonderful place. It’s only 1600 students, but 1600 like-minded kids living and studying together is sooooo very different than 1600 random kids thrown together in a high school. I’d venture that it is easier to find your “people” at a 1600 student college than at a 4000 or 5000 student high school. It is tough for high school age kids to see this difference sometimes.
Congrats to you for being the “planner” who is trying to find the best options for your DS - she will definitely be better off having you “curate” the options for her.
