Need school suggestions?

I currently attend Boston College. Basically, the school is absolutely PERFECT for me academically and extracurricular-wise; however, I am very unhappy socially (I have made a lot of friends... but I mean more in terms of school culture).

I'm not completely set on transferring, but I want suggestions for schools academically on par (or better than) Boston College. I'm currently a Human Development and Psychology double major at BC. I have low standardized test scores (1990 SAT, 29 ACT) but high subject test scores (Chem, US History, Spanish, and Math Level II) and a high college GPA (3.9).

I'm looking for schools with:
1) small class sizes/classes with professors you actually get to know (I'm in the Lynch School at BC, so I'm used to being close with my professors and not having very many people in my classes)

2) Research opportunities in education, psychology, and/or human development (child/infant cognition labs, opportunities for research in developmental disabilities)

3) A diverse student body, ethnically, socioeconomically, and interest-wise

4) Slightly less of a party atmosphere than BC... i love going out but really need to start avoiding drinking (alcohol messes with my medication, throwing me emotionally out of whack and making me cray). So I guess a school where you can find people who don't need to drink on weekends to have a good time.

5) Lots of extracurricular/volunteer opportunities, particularly in mentoring and tutoring

6) an East coast location (preferably). Midwest is okay. DEFINITELY NO WEST COAST SCHOOLS (too far from home)
