should I drop AP Stat (one period) and instead take Communications or Creative Writing or Photo or should I drop AP Bio (two periods) and instead take 2 of those classes

here's my courseload right now. it's way too much for me. I'm a junior
AP US History
AP Eng 11
AP Stat
AP Bio (2 periods, as stated above)
Honors Physics
Honors Precalc

am thinking of dropping bio.....because I'm already taking physics...

I guess what's really important to me IS....which one is easier to get a 5 on in the long-run??

I am currently taking Statistics- I find math interesting, but to be honest so far everything we've learned(based on 3 weeks of an 18 week course) Is pretty much like tits on a bull, worthless in real life.

drop stats, its considered to be an "easy" AP and colleges care little about while one the other hand ap bio very valuable in terms of information and how colleges view it..its probably much harder than stat but better to take also

Don't drop Stats, Stat's is like the best class ever, at least for me. Our teacher is very good at Stats. She has lots of expierence. Our school's passing rate is like 90% for the last 5 or 6 years. It's a fun class, if your teacher is good. I don't think it's an "easy" AP. Also taking Stats will help you in many of your other classes. Because Stat's isn't all about Math, you need critical reading skills and analytical skills. Many colleges require either Stats or Calculus for the Math requirements. So Stats may help you in the long run. Don't listen to them saying colleges care little about it. As far as my school, Stats isn't extremely popular, but people who take it usually have a great time. All in all, it depends on the teacher. My teacher knows how to teach.
Also can't you take AP Bio your senior year? or stats in your senior year?

It' not all math, The book has very few the so called "Math Problems" It isn't like Precal, Alg 2, or Geometry, where they give you a set of 50 problems all similar to do. Stats is a totally different class. The skills you learn may help in your other classes. Stats worthless in real life? come on.... How do Companies make money without statistics? There are many factors in a healthy company. Knowing what customers like to buy, for example, is crucial in making profit.

For example a manager in baseball, it's the final inning and the final at-bat and final game of the world series. Team is down 1 run. Who do you send up? 2 pinch hitters to choose from.

Overall vs Left handers Vs right handers

Player A- 33 our of 103 ( 32%) 28 for 81 (34.6%) 5 for 22 ( 22.7%)
Player B- 45 for 151 (29.8%) 12 for 32 (37.5%) 33 for 119 ( 27.7%)

Which player to choose? player A or B? Player A may sound like the right choice, but when you break down the stats. Clearly Player B is the better choice. Example of Simpson's paradox. As you can see player B has a better average against left handers and right handers than Player A.
This could be the difference in whether a team wins, a company making a profit, who takes the last shot, and many other situations. Statistics is used more often than you might think.

Statistics is easily one of the most useful classes you can take. It's important for anything from the sciences to engineering to business to social studies.
