<p>Is it necessary for premeds to take English in college? And if so would AP credits take care of these? </p>
<p>I know that like UC's require them. Do any others also?</p>
<p>A quick browse reveals that many, many schools do. Emory, Columbia, Cornell, Mt. Sinai, NYU, Case Western, Pitt, Penn, Vandy, Baylor, Duke are just the tip of the iceberg.</p>
<p>AP Credits will not take care of them at all schools.</p>
