Need urgent help with senior year schedule!

Alright, I'm trying to double major in neuroscience and journalism (then go into med), preferably at UT Austin. I'm in my senior year of high school right now.

Last year, I took AP Biology, AP Language/Composition, and AP US History. I received 5's on all three exams. I also took Spanish 3 honors, Algebra 2 honors, and Physics. Plus some electives.

This year, I'm in AP Chem/Chem Lab/AP Literature/AP World History/Precalculus/Spanish 4 honors. The problem is that I took regular chem in tenth grade, so I basically have a 'chem gap year'. This is making AP Chem terribly hard for me, and I'm thinking about dropping AP Chem to take AP Micro/Macro Economics instead. In place of Chem Lab, I would have an elective or Teacher's assistant.

Would dropping AP Chem make my senior year schedule look too 'weak' for UT Austin? Any ideas?

Thank you in advance :)

AP Chem should not be as hard as you have described as Gen. Chem is the easiest class out of Med. School Admission reguired science classes. I would stick with it and make sure that you understand every single bit of it, even if you still will take it in college as most pre-meds do, just as with AP Bio credit.
