Senior schedule selection for humanities premed

My senior year, I’ll definitely be taking these classes:

AP Physics (1 and 2, same class)

AP Econ (Macro/micro, same class)

AP English Lit

1 semester Calc 3, 1 semester Linear Algebra

PE (full year requirement)

1 semester health requirement, 1 semester Major Novels elective

AP French

This leaves me with one open spot. In terms of AP classes, I could fill this with either AP Stats, AP Environmental, or AP Chem. AP Stats and Environmental are both regarded as joke classes, but AP Chem is apparently the hardest class in the school with a poor teacher. Otherwise, I could take a really easy class like Latin 2 or fun English and social studies electives. I’m really not sure what to do. On one hand, I don’t want to kill my GPA, so AP Chem seems off the table. On the other hand, not taking it could come back to hurt me in college if I can’t get an easy A in intro chem. Stats and Environmental both seem good just for the college credit (and stats could also help, albeit not as much, with premed), but I don’t want it to look like I’m just aiming for as many APs as possible. The English and social studies electives, as well as Latin 2, are all fun GPA boosters, but I’m not sure if taking them would hurt my chances. Could anyone help me decide what to pick?

You have 3 classes at college pacing (Physics, Econ, Math) + 2 APs at HS pace. Do you really need to take an 8th class?

That would definitely be a concern if I were to take an AP elective. That being said, a bunch of the regular electives are basically study halls with 100s, so I was considering taking one.

If you’re pre-med, is there a reason you’re taking AP Physics? It would make more sense to switch that out for Chem.

What sciences have you taken already?
If you have taken Bio, CHem and Physics I would take AP Chem or AP Bio.
If you haven’t taken physics, then stick with Physics. If you are super smart, maybe take honors physics + AP CHem. But if you were super smart, you would have already taken Bio, CHem and Physic

@thebetterhawkeye @bopper I’ve already taken Honors Bio, Honors Chem, and AP Bio, but I haven’t taken a physics class yet. I’ve heard it’s a bad idea to not take physics. Unfortunately, we only have Regents Physics and AP; nothing in between.
