Hi! I have two questions.

I was initially going to apply to UR early notification but then I switched to regular decision because I am taking some SAT Subject tests Dec. 3 and I wanted them to count in my application. Anyway the point is, I submitted my application to UR last Sunday because it was done but I DIDN'T select the Early Notification option but now on my MyROC it says that I'm an early notification applicant and I don't know what to do.

Second, I haven't scheduled an alumni interview yet because I thought that I was going to get to visit UR in December but because I live all the way in Washington, it doesn't look like that is going to happen. How crucial is it to have an interview and is it too late to schedule an alumni interview?

Thank you so much!

1) take a deep breath and relax. This is all fixable…

2) Go here: http://enrollment.rochester.edu/admissions/connect/counselor/
to determine who your admissions counselor is. Email, or better yet, call him/her and ask that your application be considered in the regular decision round, not EN. (You might also tell their site is glitchy and that you didn’t select the option but it happened anyway.) Tell him/her that you have more test scores coming in and they’ll note that in your application file. Leave a message if he/she isn’t available and follow it up with an email.

UR Admissions: 585-275-3221
or toll free: 888-822-2256

Open 8:30 am- 5 pm

3) Interviews are very helpful if you want to be considered for merit awards. You can use MyROC to request an alumni interview. Don’t think it’s too late yet for RD applicants.

Thank you so much!!
