<p>Has anyone had any success negotiating financial aid? My father spoke with a counselor last week and talked about how another good school (UNC) gave us X amount of money. The counselor said to mail her my package from UNC and they'll look over it, but they still haven't gotten back to us. Does anyone know if they match offers?</p>
<p>Is Rice your first choice except that the financial aid isn’t enough? If so, I’d suggest you make that very clear to Rice.</p>
