nervous about studying abroad :( Help

<p>Hello,
I recently got accepted as an exchange student at a very prestigious Parisian uni---I would spend my junior year there.
I am just sooo scared and contemplating whether or not I should do it now :(</p>

<p>Concerns:
-Joining a sorority this year and I feel like i won't really reap the benefits if im gone
-finally feeling like im connecting to people on campus--joining clubs, getting leadership positions
-im a homebody and i worry that i might be too homesick...it took me awhile to adjust to being away from home. i have depressive tendencies and i just dont want to be depressed and sad...it might affect my grades.
-i have one best friend and honestly im quite possessive...i dont want her to find another group of friends and forget about me</p>

<p>Why i want to go:
-I've ALWAYS wanted to travel to Paris and study there. im not the happiest person at my school and honestly i want to travel
-it'll add something extra to my person...never been outside of the country before.
-i want to morph into a new person lol. i came into my home college with a bf and it hindered me in the beginning</p>

<p>Good luck with your choice.</p>

<p>^ lol thanks. im excited about the opportunity now.</p>

As they say, you need to function "</p>
