Nervous please give advice

Okay I was border line failing my AP Euro class. I had to get an 88% on the final to pass. I know I got like an 8 or 9 on the DBQ but idk how I did on the other 2 FRQs...plus there are other last minute factors in the semester grade... so yeah I am SUPER nervous because if I do get an F it will mess up ALL my future plans, like I would have to rethink my whole life!!!

I am petty sure that the grades will come in the mail tomorrow and my mail gets to my house at like 10am :(

What do you think should I open it once it comes or wait until later? Also what should I do in the mean time! UGH IDK! Any advice would be great please help!

bump please help

You will be fine. breathe. Open the letter when it arrives. Breathe. Use it as motivation for the future. breathe.

breathes…starts hyperventilating I am just so freaking nervous!!!

watch movies until you go to sleep. I’ve found reading isn’t great for anxiety because it’s easy for me at least to get distracted.

If you have a panic attack, get your mother to wrap her arms around you tightly. pressure is good.

Ehhmigawd.

…

Well the DBQ is out of nine, right? If you did fine on that, you should have done just as good on the FRQs. Just read the mail just as it comes in, since the anxiety of putting off reading it will be worse.

Was there a multiple choice as well or were they only FRQ’s and DBQ’s? If you did well on multiple choice, I don’t see why you wouldn’t get an 88.

^There was no multiple choice just the writing part (1DBQ and 2FRQs) and not really a DBQ gives you the information and you just have to make sense of it, as where a FRQ you have to know the information while also applying it

^ Well I know what the difference is, but I mean I’m thinking that you have a basic grasp of the main concept of the unit. I mean, most of the time on FRQ’s you don’t need to throw out a lot of dates, just take an important event and use critical thinking to elaborate on the topic. You don’t necessarily need to throw out all these facts, at least not in my experience, rather they’re looking of understanding as to how whatever you’re writing about affected something else. It shouldn’t be too difficult, really, assuming you at least recall what the most important events are in the unit.

^^Obviously you didn’t take my advice, because you’re still on CC. :(

Well it’s all in the past now, so just study for next time if you can, or go drink tea. You can also watch funny videos or listen to music.

Actually I kinda am I am watching TV right now (not a movie person) but I am also calming myself by planing out what I am going to buy if I win this essay contest (weird but hey it calms me)

ran out today all I have left is black tea and lol yeah trying to go calm down now get energized

Here is my game plan going to stay up really late go to sleep so when I wake up I won’t have to wait for the mail it ill most likely already be there. Also because I am not all that nervous right now due to my weird concept of time (1 “real” day = 3 of my days)

don’t make me slap you!

I’m scared of AP euro. Jeez, i didn’t know it was this bad.

Well what I disappointment…it didn’t even come today! :(

Don’t worry. AP Euro varies in difficulty from school to school, teacher to teacher, and student to student. Just do your best and you’ll be fine.

To the OP: My advice is to relax. Worrying won’t make it better. Just calm down and chalk it up to experience. This is a learning opportunity, and there isn’t anything you can do.
