i'm having trouble deciding between these two schools. although financial aid is a big part of where i go, the fin. aid package for both schools are roughly about the same- NYU's is slightly better, but NEU also has co-op (3 to be exact/18 months of paid internship), so they could possibly balance out for cost of attendance. BUT. money matters aside, which school do you think would be the better option and why? i'm going for nursing btw.

NEU pros-
- co-op, higher guarantee of job offerings
- boston is home to a ton of great medical centers
- actual campus/school spirit- "real" college experience. my high school wasn't very school spirit-y so i think it would be cool for me to have that school pride for my college
- 20 minutes from home
- i'd be in my comfort zone (good/bad?)
- nursing courses start sophomore year (they typically start junior year for other colleges)

NEU cons-
- i definitely want to live in boston when i'm older so if i go here, i won't get to experience living elsewhere
- i can choose to do my co-op in another city, but because it's co-op, i'll be working and i won't have the ability to experience the place whereas if i go to NYU, i'll be able to go clubbing, broadway shows etc. whenever i please with less responsibility towards job related work
- considered less prestigious
- 5 years, meaning i'll graduate later + grad school = 6 years of schooling (not sure if that's good or bad actually...)

NYU pros-
- a completely new environment (NYC!)
- tons of internship/job opportunities available
- tons of everything available
- considered more prestigious (not sure about the college of nursing though)
- chance for dual degree for grad school- less stressful grad school application process?

NYU cons-
- cost of living in NYC is a lot higher than in boston
- lack of actual campus/school spirit
- complete independence- not sure how well i'd fare being so far away from my family
