Any current Vandy STEM people who have taken this class have any insight into how hard? I took Neuro 2201 with Leslie Smith and didn’t find it to bed too hard, got an A with a decent amount of work, but since it’s a 3000 level science course and I’m a non-STEM major I just want to know if I’ll be severely behind having not taken BSCI or chem?
No that’s a good class to take. It’s pretty much known as the “easy A” of the neuro major which everyone takes, and is also really interesting overall. Ken Catania is really cool/nice and he brings some animals into class. I wouldn’t say it’s any harder than 2201, just note taking on lectures and then some moderately challenging multiple choice tests. It’s also nice because he doesn’t give - grades, so as long as you can get in the range for A- you’ll get an A.
Wow thanks so much @fdgjfg I really appreciate it! Hopefully I can get into the course as a sophomore.
