Neuroscience vs. Nutritional Science

I think learning the brain would be pretty awesome, but at the same time it would also be cool to learn how nutrition affects our body.

I am currently a senior in high school. I still have no idea on what to major on. Neuroscience and nutritional science has always been my top two for my choice of of what to major in. I was thinking about just doing a double major, but then I realized how hard it would be to manage the two together. On a difficulty level, how hard are the classes? What is the difference between the two? If you are a college student, majoring in neuroscience or nutritional science, how do you like the class?

i suspect neuroscience will be dramatically more onerous than nutritional science. The overlap is not so clear to be honest either.

Neuroscience is more commonly found at colleges; nutrition is not a major that’s available at all schools.

Neuroscience may not always be harder. Some colleges have some really rigorous food sciences programs. It kind of depends on the program - some nutritional sciences programs have heavy requirements in biology and chemistry, for example.

You don’t have to decide now. In fact, it’d be better to wait until your freshman year, then take the introductory class for majors in each and decide which you like better.
