Never sent in IDOC documents, please help!! Urgent!!

So due to a miscommunication between my dad and I, any documents supposed to be uploaded to IDOC were never uploaded to Yale, Columbia, and Harvard. I understand that this is well passed the dead line, so I’m sort of freaking out. Cornell emailed me today asking for a few forms and wasn’t too strict on the deadlines, but I’m worrying about the other schools. I submitted everything else (FAFSA and CSS) except the IDOC documents.

So my questions are:

Will I not receive any financial aid now?

If not, Will my financial aid package be less than it would have been?

If I haven’t received an email from those three schools notifying me that I’m missing a part of my financial aid application, but I did receive an email from Cornell (a school I’ve been accepted to already), does this mean that basically I was rejected by these other schools already?

Thanks so much, I’m really freaking out right now.

Call the schools on Monday and ask them.

In the meantime…upload and submit the documents to IDOC.

You will receive financial aid if accepted and it will not be any different. However your finaid offers will not come with acceptance or you might get provisional offers that may change after they see your family’s taxes.
Potentially you may have very short time to make a matriculation decision if it is based on finances. Submit IDOC tonight.

@CCDD14 Thank you, I just sent them all in!

So I found an answer for Harvard, Yale, and Columbia. They basically will calculate your finaid no matter the deadline, and described the deadlines as “soft,” meaning that they are suggested so that you get the offer along with the acceptance.
