Never submitted supplement nor payment and got waitlisted?!

I was considering applying to tufts so I submitted my common application...yet after i looked at the supplement i decided against applying because of all the essays. So I never submitted my supplement and never sent in a payment. 2 weeks before April 1st, I get a call from an alumni asking for an interview...then i get a letter saying i was waitlisted!! Weird..

Some other kid probably never got his decision, because his payment & supplement were credited to you! Just kidding. It IS weird.

ya that happened to me too, now i really want to get in. i submitted the supplement late

and by late i mean after two emails from them

Wow! I can't believe that happened. Heck, I got in ED2 and I'm thrilled, so I'm not at all envious or anything of that sort. In fact, good luck! I just find it intriguing that they would take supplements 5 months late. If you end up getting in, wouldn't that be a story?! Mind-boggling...maybe I'm overreacting.=P

haha it is the strangest thing!! nah i never responded to their waitlist card....but ive decided on upenn

i got in without the supplement and the app fee. it happens.

nice, i hope that happens to more off us, like myself

I know someone who applied ED to Wellesley and got in, but submitted the common app for a bunch of other schools (without supplements, fees, recs, etc), and assumed that because the applications were incomplete (and not paid for) that they would not be read.

Well, she got into about three of the other schools and W was pretty mad. Everything was worked out in the end, though there was a funny phone call with the people from one nameless other school saying she should just go to school X instead.
