<p>Just received information in the mail about the Colorado College New Faces Directory. Is anyone familiar with this publication? Is it worth the money? Does it seem like most new students participate?</p>

<p>My S is a rising junior. In the summer of 2008 he sent in his picture as requested. Although he lost interest pretty quickly, I turned to it many times during the fall of his freshman year.
Whenever he mentioned a new friend or just someone he had met, I was able to put a name with a face. It made me feel more connected to him and his new life. Since he was my first to head off to college I definitly thought it was worth the money. FOrthe class of '12 I would estimate that at least 80% of the incoming freshman participated.</p>
