"Congratulations! After a careful review of your application, the Admissios Committee of the Graduate Program in Communication has recommended to the graduate division that you be admitted to the program for fall 2008. We are forwarding this recommendation for admissiondation for admission to graduate admission, with whom the final decision rests.
Enlighten me!! Is t possible that Graduate admission will deny Department's recommendation?????

LitGirl - that is for all intents and purposes an acceptance. On VERY rare occasions something goes wrong at the graduate school level, but I would take this as an acceptance. Congratulations!

I wonder what penn state's acceptance criteria is.

haha yea, to be honest i was surprised by Penn State. I go to a top 5 envir. engr. school and they are ranked way below and rejected me really soon after i applied. I think they probably had very few, if any, openings this year. Or i just didnt fit the mold.

Are you leaning towards any school?

Can any1 give me an honest opinion on Georgiatech? I've been accepted there for an MS under the ECE department for the Fall of 2008.
How good is the institute?does it have a decent reputation?
Also, what are the recruitment chances for M.S. Graduates??

PLEASE RESPOND TO MY QUERIES!!!!PLEASE!!!!!!

leaning towards stanford because i like their program better than others and want to experience a non-UC school since I'm at one right now. But with no funding, it's going to be a hard decision.
