<p>Redlands has posted a new video on YouTube of Professor Art Svenson's reflections on the inauguration of Redlands' new president, Dr. Ralph Kuncl. It's worth a watch.</p>

<p>Are you happy with the new president so far? We are going to the Accepted Student Day in April-- I’m not sure if the president is speaking or not</p>

<p>To be honest, I don’t have an opinion of the new president. He certainly seems affable and approachable from the videos and interviews I’ve read and seen. And he has impressive academic credentials - MD/PhD, on the faculty of Johns Hopkins for 20 years, interesting areas of research. Whether he has the administrative skills is not clear to me at this point but I’ll be interested to see how he leads the campus.</p>

<p>I’m guessing he’ll be available for at chat on Admitted Students’ Day.</p>
