NEW PSAT 2015 Books

Hey guys,

It’s kinda early, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any prep books that cover material for this year’s new PSAT?
I’m pretty sure that the old PSAT prep books aren’t compatible with the format of the new PSAT anymore. Thanks

hmm but is the new SAT the same format as the new PSAT?

Just use the SAT blue book for the PSAT. I did just fine raising my score from high 180s to high 220s.

I assume Collegeboard is going to release PSAT prep books along with the SAT ones in June. If not, I’d just use the SAT book since the PSAT will probably be very similar. But hey, if Collegeboard doesn’t release books, at least we’ll all be on the same page.

crosses fingers that SAT prep camp won’t cover new SAT material

Barron’s is releasing one soon it looks like: http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-Strategies-Practice-PSAT-NMSQT/dp/143800768X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1430865712&sr=8-2&keywords=barrons+psat

@Newdle they’re changing the 2015 PSAT to match the new SAT, and most prep books aren’t out yet/nobody knows how accurate they’ll be.

@topaz1116 I think they said they’ll release new ones.

College Board is, but in June. And of course, there are the Barron’s/Kaplan/PR/whatever else books, which release earlier but are sketchier.

Has anyone looked at the new Kaplan book? This is one of few books out there for the newly design PSAT.

Can someone post the link to the collegeboard book on amazon? Thanks!

@DoctorSalk You can use the SAT book for the PSAT, but according to the comments, this book is the same stuff as is on the Khan Academy SAT prep website. So you should just use that (it’s free!) and save money. http://www.amazon.com/Official-Study-Guide-2016-Edition/dp/1457304309

Thanks!

Try PR …I really like their math and verbal workshop books for the New SAT as well as the “500 Practice questions” book for the New SAT.

The prep course I teach is combining the Khan Academy videos with the book.
