So earlier this week I took a practice test for the 2015 New PSAT that is scored out of 1520, according to the scoring guide attached on the PDF. I received an 1100 out of 1520 and I was wondering it that score is a good score or if it’s average. I plan on taking the Redesigned SAT in March 2016, so does my practice score accurately estimates my success on the new SAT?
What grade are you in and have you done any prep? You might want to work through the SAT prep on KhanAcademy.
Both my sons took the practice PSAT as part of a prep class last month. My kids aren’t typical (we homeschool until 9th grade and they tend to be advanced in math) I’ll throw their score out for a point of reference but keep in mind they tend to be high stats kids so their scores are likely above average. My 10th grader scored 1500 and my 8th grader scored 1250.

Do you mean average for all PSAT test takers? Or average for college-board test takers?
