New requirements

This was posted about ten days ago and sheds more light on the new general education requirements.

Also has some other good material:

Lists substitutions for ECON E370.

Notes a change that will make it much easier for students to minor in a foreign language, because it now counts 300-level foreign language classes as fulfilling the requirement for two 300-level courses from the old 27 credit hour core.

I think many, many students will now minor in a foreign language and econ both. Some did before the changes, but many more will in the future,

Thanks Bthomp1. Do you know if this affects all IU students? I thought that the degree requirements from the year you started are the ones that you use… or can you do either?
Thanks again

They go by the bulletins in effect the semester you arrive at IU, so you would go by the gen ed requirements which are still posted here.
