I'm so torn. I've been researching like a crazy person for both of them, and because I'm a scholarship winner I'm guaranteed to end up in one of my top two choices. So far the only thing I can see as as differences is that C4 seems cleaner and New Rez seems to have nicer amenities.

I'm going to visit soon, so I'm going to hold off on actually filling out the survey till after that, but I'd appreciate some input.

I’m in the exact same boat! Some other positives about Carrefour, in my opinion, are:
- it’s closer to campus
- it has fewer people per floor (can be positive or negative, but the 50 people per floor at New Rez seems like A LOT)

But then New Rez has way better food, and is closer to the gym and downtown core

Alistair17, are you thinking of getting a single or double, by the way?

Has to be New Rez. its the most popular for a reason. they have the best facilities, rooms, and are always said to be the most fun. UR so lucky u get to have it for sure! There are many ppl dying to get it …

Yeah, the close to campus thing doesn’t bother me as long as I’m still avoiding the hill. I have heard a lot about some people preferring the smaller floor though because it leads to a tighter knit community. I think for me it could go either way though because I make friends really easily, it might not be a problem.

And the New Rez caf does look much nicer. Also, the mall seems like it would be a huge plus, especially in winter. I’ll definitely go down there when I visit.

Uh, for single or double I’m not very partial. It might be nice to have a roommate just for the experience, but again I’m not one of those people who is going to be anti-social if I do end up in a single.
