Cornell. Dartmouth possibly.

Essays will be crucial! GPA isn’t bad but a tad low for HyP
ECs are good, and all the summer programs show that you really work hard

Oh yeah, if it helps, all my B grades happened when my grandpa died and we had to move my grandma to assisted living. One of my teacher recommenders said he was going to talk about it. Once everything got settled it, I went from getting between 88% to 92% on tests and occasionally doing homework to getting 96% to 100% on tests and always doing homework. I ended up getting a 98% on the final project which integrated knowledge form throughout the entire year.

I think you have a great shot at a majority of those schools. Of course, Ivies are very random in admitting applicants sometimes, but I’m sure you will have a good, if not great, shot. Your GPA and SAT score are great, as are your extracurriculars. :)

your SAT’s fine. don’t get too obsessed.

Dartmouth is probably your best bet unless you take your research far…

oh, and I forgot to mention: UPENN

Sorry, maybe I’m the only one but where are your ECs? Are your awards supposed to be explaining that? And I definitely recommend the sat II retake. I went from a 650 to a 770 and definitely saw familiar questions.
Your sat score is beautiful, don’t get too hung up on that because it doesnt guarantee much. Maybe try some community service?

I’m an undergrad student at Harvard and to be frank, I think you stand no chance at any of the ivy league schools. You say your GPA should be discounted because you went to a competitive school. I went to Exeter academy and I learned 3.9 is the minimum to go anywhere in the ivy league. Also your sat twos seem especially low. However I hope your essays are good and I wish you the best of luck. I hope you consider applying to some solid safeties like the uc system.

I am a rising senior and my stats are very similar to yours. Could you update me as to what schools you got into?

Thanks!
