Bumppppp!:))))

Sat score is a little low for the ivies, but i think you have good chances at Cornell because everything else looks really good (ED is going to help a bit). UCLA and Berkeley are matches, JHU highmatch/low reach, UT at austin match/low match and Yale and Columbia are reaches. Good luck.
Chance me back if you can:

Please chance me back at “Low gpa high sat”.

Bump bump bump bump boom:)

honestly you should be fine anywhere you apply- I can’t give you an accurate chance until all your stats are final though. just remember that these schools are highly selective and I guarantee you that you won’t get accepted into EVERY school you apply to

You’re most likely in at UT, UB, UCLA, but you need to REALLY focus on your essays to set you apart at the Ivies/more competitive schools. Your GPA and SAT will put you in a good range if you get the 2250, but as a junior you have the luxury of waiting another year.
Chance me back please?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417709-chance-me-top-10-schools-more-ill-chance-back.html</a></p>

I agree with what everyone’s saying about the essays for the most competitive schools. You are still a junior and have a lot of time to bump your SAT scores. Your grades are great as long as you maintain them, and your extracurriculars are good and show commitment, but let’s face it-there are thousands of students with those same grades and same commitments applying to those schools every year. I’m not knocking your accomplishments but now they’re like prerequisites for applying to college. So you really need something to make you stand out and it’ll be the essays. They’ll need to show passion and thoughtfulness and who you are as a person. Hope this was helpful!
Chance me back at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1418812-what-do-you-think-about-my-chances-barnard.html</a> :)

Thanks guys! Lets get some more chances in ! BUMPPY

Cornell (ED)- I’d say you are probably in ED
UCLA- Match
UCB-Match/Low reach (Just cause you’re OOS)
Yale- Reach for everyone
Columbia- Reach for Everyone
JHU- Low Reach
Stanford- Reach for Everyone
Rice- I think you’re in
UT Austin- Low match

Chance me back?

what is your unweighted GPA?
I would say you have a strong chance as of now.
improve your SAT score while you can. your EC’s are strong…
however, since you still are technically a junior, i’m a bit tempted to give you advice…
do research over the summer at one of these universities if you can, this should really help your overall application.
other than that, you seem to be on check.
chance back please.

Thanks guys! i really appreciate your input! Anymore Chancers out there (a.k.a bump::))

bumppyy!!!:P

Bump bump bump bump :)

UCLA- Match
UT Austin- Match
Rice- Match
Cornell- Low Reach

Please chance me back- “Chances at UGA or Auburn?”

All the ivies are huge reaches. Other than those, your good to go with your college list. The reason I say this is because Ivies take a huge look at your class rank despite the rigor or competitiveness of your school. Stanford is just as good and I think that is an optimal school for you. Retake the SAT if you can. Good luck!
Can you chance me here:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1419766-bs-md-programs.html</a></p>

Stanford: High Reach

Columbia: Reach
Rice: Match
UT: Match
JHU: Reach

I think that you’ll get into Cornell ED. They love language things a lot, and you’ve shown a commitment. Also, religious-affiliation community service helps your chances. Obviously, not being an admissions officer, I can’t say for sure, so work on your essays really hard I guess. Your accomplishments in music at a high level are also attractive. Texas schools should be a slam dunk for you, Hopkins too. Can’t say about the Ivies but I think you have a good chance at Columbia; Yale is a crapshoot.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1419543-hi-friends-penn-chances.html</a></p>

if you can get your SAT up to 2250 or so and your school is competitive in that it sends a lot of kids to top schools, i don’t think you’ll have any problem with Cornell early

chance me back!
