New SAT

I don't know if this has been said or not and i don't have time to look through all the threads, what is the equvilancy of the old sat and the new SAT i just got my scores to day NOT GOOD! NOT GOOD AT ALL!! but say around a 1500 whats the equivalnt to that and say a 1300?

From what i have read, many colleges are doing this: CR, M = Old sat combined V, M. W = old SATII writing.

Since this is the first year of the new SAT, everything is up in the air.
Some colleges are using either the old or new SAT.

Others are just using the Cr, M part of the new SAT, and are looking at, but not officially factoring in the W score. W is so new that colleges don't really know what the score means.

Some also will take students best CR, V and best M scores and combine them the same way that colleges would take the best combined old SAT scores from multiple sittings.

I suggest that you just focus on your CR, M scores and compare them directly to the old SAT.

do the old SAT score X 1.5 and that gives u ur new sat score.
do the new SAT score / 1.5 and that u ur old sat score
