New Special Collections Library

I'm such a huge history buff, so I wanted to share this w/ you guys. UVa just opened its Special Collections Library, which not only contains one of the largest collections of personal letters, documents, manuscripts and other works by Jorge Luis Borges, alumnus Edgar Allen Poe, and former professor William Faulkner, but it also contains the largest collection of Declaration of Independence-related documents including an original copy of the Declaration of Independence itself, which some say was George Washington's copy. It's only fitting that the University founded & designed by Thomas Jefferson would have a copy of Jefferson's most important document.

that's awesome - i'm into history a lot... it's only fitting to go to a Uni designed and developed by a Founding Father.

i'll have a gander at the article... thanks! :D
