i just moved to america and was previously enrolled in the british education system. I entered a high school as a senior and only have one year to graduate. My question is that i am totally new to the system and am not sure if i can handle the pressure of an AP class. It is my final year so i don't want to risk my gpa for an AP class. I want to go to Babson College or Bentley University but i am not sure if i'll be a strong candidate without any AP classes and will they take me entering the american education system recently into consideration.

Don’t worry about the difficulty of the American education system. In my experience, the British system is even harder. I suggest you take at least one AP class if you want to go to those schools.

do you think its worth risking my gpa?

I think it’s fine. If you apply early to Babson or Bentley, they won’t even consider your senior year grades as part of the application. They will understand that you are still adjusting to life in the US. Not sure if you were in the IB system (some British schools are), but pretty much all AP classes are easier than IB HL classes.
