anyone know of any colleges in new york ciy that are still accepting where you could live in a dorm at?

off the top of my head.

cuny john jay.

John Jay College of Criminal Justice is eally the only specific criminal justice college in NYC but it does not have dorms.

60 minutes from NYC is the University of New Haven. I believe they have dorms.

Although not in NYC, SUNY Alabana is worth considering. It has one of the top 3 Criminal Justice programs in the nation. Albany's deadline is March 1 I believe.

Ironmike- I am going to link my response with your other question re: Business Management too. Alexandre's response Re: Suny Albany is good as they do have a top notch criminal justice program. SUNY Albany also has a business program so it would meet you educational requirements. Has Dorms and tuition is reasonable. But Albany is about 150 miles from NYC. In NYC -John Jay IS the School for Criminal Justice and Baruch is the CUNY school for Business but they do not have dorms. Fordham and NYU would meet your Business needs but IMO it's gonna cost alot to get a degree from NYU for Criminal Justice. If tuition costs are a factor, you need a dorm and you want to be near NYC, I'd look at Montclair State. It's in NJ, but is an easy commute to NYC and the tuition seems reasonable even for OOS kids. It does seem to have a business program and Justice Program. I've only checked their website so I am not overly familiar with the school- but it does seem to have possibilities for you. Some other SUNY's with dorms and commutable into NYC (by LIRR) include SUNY Old Westbury, Farmingdale, and Stony Brook. I am sure you can "major" in criminology and take business courses at these schools, but I do not think they are "known" for those Departments. I am from NY- so if you need more info, just ask.
