I have a 92.4 average and a 1300 on my sat out of 1600..... where in New York State is the best move for college....i'm thinking about Binghampton

yep, go for it

it's Binghamton, no "p"

ohh thanks

go to the binghamton forum and read up on recent threads -- there were many people surprised about admissions decisions this year -- it is getting increasingly difficult to get into binghamton.

which doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a shot -- but just don't let yourself get caught in the mindset of thinking that a suny is going to be a shoe in.

that kinda sucks.....any other schools in upstate newyork that id have a better chance with

There's so many that would want someone with good SATs. Justa few: Geneseo, Oneota, Plattsburg, Albany and Cortland. Most of the SUNYs are upstate.

i'd say that you're more than likely in at binghamton. have you thought of Fordham? I think you have a good shot there too.

in which of these would i get best education in political science/philosophy
and living conditions is kinda a big deal so niceish dorms

?????????????????????????

I think Binghamton recently built new dorms, and they're supposedly really nice(?). I don't know for sure. My high school was in the area and I'm pretty sure I heard about new dorms.
