New Yorker Applying To U Texas!!!

what are my chances (from New York city, out of state of course) of being accepted into the undeclared liberal arts major if I have 1170 on SAT (not including new writing section, which they say doesnt count for now) and a 3.0 GPA? I have 2 kick ass recomendations (including one from an actual UT studio art professor) and very strong essays and a uniquely impressive resume. Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

Also, I have not mentioned that i will have received 60 college credits and the Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree from Bard College in additon to my high school diploma, since I go to a weird school called Bard High School Early College that has first two years of regular high school credit and then 2nd 2 years are college credit courses. However i applied to UT as a freshman, not as a transfer student

Very slim chance. There are only a limited number of slots at UT for out of state students. Those are very competitive. Your scores probably wouldn't get you in even if you were in state. You might have a better chance as a transfer.

You probably won't get in. Try one of the SUNY colleges and maybe you can transfer to UT later.
