<p>haha :] we got an early dismissal even though we totally should have had off today. butttt, we didn’t because the school is anticipating an off day for tomorrow. so, yayy :D</p>
<p>Since when has our humanity celebrated on the opinion that having no educational enlightenment for even a single day was, indeed, a positive outcome?</p>
<p>haha i had a snow day. hoping for one tomorrow, too.</p>
<p>Couldn’t believe it but my junior daughter woke up and said, “I am soooo sick of snow days”…not exactly a high achieving kid so I can’t imagine how everyone else is faring…</p>
<p>on a different note, have any school districts started pulling spring break back yet to get the required # of days in for state aid for the year? if not, that will be next; we are private so not an issue…</p>
<p>^i think we have one more left before we have to start doing that. & we’re probably using it up for tomorrow :</p>
<p>My friend was telling me that it was the worst case of slush she has ever seen in NJ.</p>
<p>I wish it had started snowing earlier so that we would have had a snow day instead of an early dismissal.</p>
<p>woke up at 9 AM and it was a snow day!..hopefully i get another tomorrow. Im in Northern Bergen county NJ btw.</p>

<p>I’m jealous of anyone who slept til 9am or later. </p>
<p>I woke up at 5am and couldn’t get back to sleep. I don’t even need to get up that early but I guess my internal alarm clock is on the fritz.
So I ended up watching non-stop onDemand TV and the occasional kitchen gadget infomercial. (Does anyone else watch those? I only watch the kitchen gadget ones. I find them entertaining for some reason. )</p>

<p>yesterday when i was talking to the parking lot there was literally ice coming down on my head.</p>
<p>The snow’s not as bad as it’s been in recent storms because it wasn’t sticking near me. But we’re well above the record for snowiest winter ever, and with this snowstorm we should pass 80 inches. It’s supposed to get really windy tonight, so hopefully the power will go out at school and we’ll have off.</p>
