I'm so excited.

We in NJ have yet to have a snow day. It sucks

Aww, I wish I had snow days. We don't get too many of those in Florida. :D

But sometimes we get hurricane days (not like that matters because we have to make up any missed days anyway...our schoolboard obviously thinks we need 180 school days instead of 179).

We had a horrible snow storm and got more than a week off from school. Everybody hopes we do not get any more snow days because we will have to make them up over spring break. Also all of our AP classes are a little bit behind now.

aww :( we wil never ever ever have a snow day (So. Cal) although we had some snow last month

Pshhh. Our town was hit with a giant blizzard... the day before the finals, so we didn't take them at all! Envy us.

I think you said it all.

lucky...I live in upstate NY and we haven't had a snow day in about 2-3 years and I doubt we'll have a snow day this year...

and btw its supposed to be 10 degrees tomorow, extremely cold, and they already canceled the city schools, but theres no chance my school gets canceled

We had 6+ days off due to a snow storm in Seattle...it was sweet.

WI is a magical place to live for these sorts of things... had snow day Dec. 1st and tomorrow is a possible off day because of extreme wind chill and below zero temperatures :)

Agreed.. I am crossin my fingers.

:(
completely and totally unfair
I live in freakin NY and we haven't had a snow day yet
Not ONE DAY of a reasonable amount of snow

Worst. Winter. EVER.

we've had none this year :(

i live in MA and we usually get around 5 snow days a school year and most of it is during January. It's February and we haven't had one snow day yet...I hate global warming.

On MLK day, we had school, despite the ice storm (which meant every single school around us was closed) and despite the fact that most schools get MLK day off anyways.

Hell, almost everyone I know from my high school on facebook joined the group: Our school doesn't have snow days unless it's the second coming of Jesus

Oh I live in Michigan too...our weather isn't exactly good...

this is what weather.com forecast is for my town tomorow... do you think I'll have a snow day?

Tomorrow

High 14 degrees F
Precipitation: 60%

Windy with morning snow showers. Heavier snow squalls will develop in the afternoon. Cold. Wind chills approaching -15F. High 14F. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 60%. 5 to 8 inches of snow expected.

Please God, please!!

We've had one snow day this year, which isn't nearly enough for DC, I think.

zkevin -- where in MI are you?

I wish I had a snow day. We haven't even gotten enough snow to cover the ground yet this year. It really sucks especially since this is only my second winter living here so I'm still used to Michigan winters where we at least get some snow, though rarely any snow days. It's kind of funny though, here they'd give us a snow day even if there were only three inches.

We got a snow day for less than an inch of snow that melted by around noon.

^ wth?

lol MLK day. I call it Milk day.
