Newhouse RD- Chances?

<p>I'm applying to Newhouse Regular Decision and wanted to get the opinions of others about my chance of acceptence. I'm applying for a Radio/TV/Film major.</p>

<p>Grades: 3.81 GPA Weighted
Advanced Classes:
Freshmen Year: French 2Honors
Sophomore Year: French 3 Honors, Chemistry Honors
Junior Year: English 3 Honors, French 4 Honors, Physics Honors, Creative Writing Honors
Senior Year: AP Environmental Science, AP French, English 4 Honors
Tests: 30 ACT Composite
EC's: I'm really involved with the television program at my school- I take the morning news class, film after school events, edit segments to go on news show. etc. I'm also really involved with musical theatre at my school, and I do stage crew for one show a year. I am involved with French Honor Society and National Honor Society. I am also involved within my community. Over the last few years I was on a committee that helped put a skatepark in town, and I also take part on a committee trying to promote volunteerism.</p>

<p>I'm so nervous to find out in March and I'm really hoping for the best. Let me know what you think about my chances.</p>

<p>The fact that you’ve done a lot with the school TV is very good. Your ACT is also pretty solid.</p>

<p>I’d be able to chance you better if you told me your UW GPA, as this is mostly what colleges look at. Also, your class rank.</p>

<p>Your courses aren’t very rigorous, but at least you have more honors courses in junior year. AP’s are also lacking. Looks like you could have some more EC’s, and you probably do. List everything and anything you do.</p>

<p>Id say right now, you’re a high match/low reach for Newhouse. Best of luck!</p>
