Chances for Newhouse?

<p>What are my chances for getting into Newhouse? I kind of feel like I'm TOO rounded of a student, minus sports because I'm awful. I want to be in Film Production but my school doesn't offer much in that respect.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0 unweighted.
Class Rank: 4.
SATs: CR: 620. M: 610. W: 570.
APs: Calculus, Biology, Language and Compostion, and Literature and Composition.</p>

<p>EC:
Secretary of the National Honor Society.
Editor of the School Newspaper.
Co-producer of the School Cable Show.
Co-captain of the Mock Trial Team.
Student Director and Writer for the Drama Club.
Student Council Member.
Chorus Member.
After-School Bass Guitar Lessons.</p>

<p>I help out in Special Education rooms during my free time in school and tutor afterschool, but that's sort of part of my responsibilities for NHS.</p>

<p>I also took a Film Workshop at the New England Institute of Art Summer Studio.</p>

<p>I would say you have a good chance of getting in. Def into SU and I think probably into Newhouse. The thing you might want to improve on is your SAT scores if you can but otherwise everything seems to be great!

<p>You seem like just the kind of student Newhouse is looking for. Except try to get your SATs up, like I said in another chance threat around a 1300 if possible! If you can do that you’ll have an amazing chance. Are you applying ED or Regular?</p>

<p>To be honest, I haven’t decided yet. I haven’t viewed the campus. Would it make a big difference doing ED?</p>

<p>The campus is gorgeous btw. I was sold as soon as I saw it.
But not really, although ED’ers usually have an better chance of getting in. I did it but that’s because it was the only school I would be happy going to.</p>
