<p>@MartinSMC, That’s super cool. Who are you interning with? When I was in high School (University HS, LA) we had a mentorship program with talent agents at United Talent Agency (16 of us lucky S.O.B.'s!) </p>
<p>@Erikuh- That number (for Cal) breaks my heart. I hate that they don’t do something like that for UCLA. BUT I did happen to meet a guy at school (SD City) who has a 3.2 cumulative GPA and got into UCLA/Berk/Georgetown/other really good school. I was like what the hell?</p>

<p>If you’re looking wanting to go to NY, you should apply to NYU. They’re apparently very transfer friendly. But their finaid is nonexistant if that’s a factor for you.</p>
<p>Oh yeah. KCM is awesome. And I heard NSU is on the same level as Samahang (in terms of competition)? But what do I know, haha. And there’s ACA too. So many dance groups, haaahaha. At least it’s not Irvine :P</p>
<p>@erikuh - did they really hesitate that you were taking five classes? That’s odd. If you go to your scholars counselor (I don’t know if you’re in it?) they’ll be like, no. But if you go to a regular counselor they’re totally cool with it, just as long as you have above a 3.0. Side note: Counselors are useless. ):</p>

<p>My international relations teacher in HS went to Wheaton! She really liked it. </p>
<p>And yeah it was my scholars counselor who was like that. But a regular counselor did advise me from not taking 3 courses (9 units) in the summer. Yeah, counselors do suck. I think they just have a mentality of underestimating everyone. </p>
<p>I should be studying too! I like how it’s impossible to find a table on finals when 90% of these people weren’t in this library the entire semester.</p>
<p>edit: njoy - not entirely positive but they might ask for SATs. for sure they’ll require teacher recommendations and different essays (i.e. Why Cornell/Columbia/Northwestern? or What unique talents/characteristics would you bring to the student community?)</p>
<p>The teacher recs totally turn me off from private schools because I don’t really put that much involvement into the classroom enough for a teacher to write a thoughtful recommendation. I just wanna get in and out of school haha.</p>
<p>ahhh! i would go to usc. sadly, i dont know if i have the balls to go out of state… usc and pepperdine would be the only privates in california that would interest me.</p>

I gave up on memorizing like 200 photos and 100 photographers about an hour ago.</p>
