Hahaha… Trust me, I grew up a Lions /Tigers fan… Lol…
But seriously, I think ya got the real deal here. Will be interesting how far they can go. Seems like we will run to the bottom and wait for Caleb…

Ugh. Rodgers injured and out so early.
And it’s rude of me to wish a hammy injury for diggs but I do. he’s just too good. I’m barely hanging. I don’t wish I’ll will on anyone but Rodgers out was helpful til diggs decided to be great.
I am watching the game. He played like two downs. Xray negative. Someone said ankle sprain but who knows. Wilson is just bad…
He’s “immunized” though
What? I’m watching baseball so didn’t realize Rodgers is out. My sister LOVES him so has switched allegiance from the Packers to the Jets. This must be killing her, but I don’t care. When the Packers played the Cowboys she’d root for the Packers. No loyalty at all.
I heard maybe ligaments. Hard to say without an MRI, I suspect.
Some on X are wondering about the artificial turf being an issue.
Old guys get injured when they play competitive sports.
I would take the money and go to some island somewhere… Lol…
Lots of unexpected things happening this weekend with football.
What an ending. Happy for the undrafted Lumberjack.
Artificial turf is widely seen as having more injury risk than grass. The players’ union prefers grass fields for this reason: NFLPA - New injury data shows grass 'significantly safer' than turf - ESPN
As a Packers fan and a “former” Rodgers fan (meaning I really adored him and his play and his quirky personality - until there became a point when I didn’t!) I would never wish him injury but watching that play live must have made A LOT of hearts drop - especially Jets fans excited for a new beginning. I can’t speak for how more Packers fans felt though!
I’m just stunned at this. Out for the season. At his age can he come back?
It’s like he knew when he stood up and then went down to the ground, not really grimacing or anything that it was DONE.
Very sad turn of events. I feel for him and for Jets fans.
The Steelers were terrible. Disappointing start to the season.
Unfortunately, they can’t use real grass at the MetLife stadium. It’s shared between the Jets and Giants, and they have to change everything between games, including the field markings and logos. So they have turf “mats” that they can swap.
They actually replaced the turf (with supposedly better turf) just this year.
My son tore his ACL on terrible turf. He hates practicing on it now.
My daughter’s fiancé snapped his Achilles. He knew exactly what happened. Apparently it’s really loud also.
Aaron knew exactly what happened.
Hard to say if he will retire now. It’s a hard injury to recover from. Not much blood flows to the ankle area.
The Lions put down the same turf this year.
When Kevin Durant snapped his achilles, playing for the Warriors, the slow-mo videos showed it snapping. In terms of this type of injury, it’s obvious what has happened, to the athlete.
Hmm… There is lower blood flow to the watershed area of the Achilles tendon. There is lots of blood flow to the ankle area…
Problem with Rodgers is that he strained his calf /Achilles and there wasn’t enough time to properly rehab him. He’s not young. Lol…
Last night Chubb injury is brutal… Feel bad for him but he might be done.
