<p>im going to UCSD on friday and will be living at the hotel. Im attending Sixth College, so are there close by good/cheap hotels around Sixth? thanks</p>
<p>UCSD is located in La Jolla, which is a relatively wealthy area. You should be able to find a hotel in that area because of the high concentration of businesses, but it may or may not be within your price range.</p>
<p>don’t you know anyone at ucsd? even a friend-of-a-friend? you could just crash on a suite couch for the night, maybe offer to take them out to dinner, and get a much better experience than being cooped up in a hotel.</p>
<p>hotels in the area ARE pricey. and apart from the mariott residence inn on la jolla village drive, none of them are really within walking distance of campus …</p>
