Hey, I'm currently a senior in high school living in NJ. I was recently accepted to both engineering schools, but I am having trouble deciding on which one to attend. The main things I am looking for are:

-Academics
-Costs
-Social life
-Job placement upon graduation

NJIT:
- $3,000-$5,000 tuition and commuting

Rutgers:
- $25,000+/- tuition, room and board

Rutgers is definitely a better environment to receive an education and it edges NJIT over academics just by a bit, but is it worth paying extra and going into a lot of debt? At NJIT, I would graduate with little debt and be even able to pursue graduate school, but I am not sure if the inexpensiveness be worth at the expense of a better environment to learn in.

Please help. Any personal opinions or decisions would be appreciated. Thank you. :)
