Notification of NM Corporate Scholarships starts in March but goes through April. Some notifications even come out after the awarding of the $2500 awards.

To home. They offered min $$ corporate scholarship, and wanted us to submit css profile if student to be considered for more $s. I believe css profile is common practice for Corporate scholarships
@sny007 Any idea what the minimum is? Also, does that mean corporate scholarships are partially need-based? That sort of defeats the purpose of national “merit.”
@Aristos - The award letter shows minimum of $500 per year in our case. I too was surprised to see request for css profile. My corporate scholarship could go up-to $3000 per year after they review css profile.

My son got a corporate scholarship of $1,000 a year for 4 years!

The request for the CSS is odd, I agree. The particular company may have wanted to distribute funds in that manner.

@TheGFG My daughter received a corporate scholarship that was renewable for 4 years on 4/3 by letter to our house. I know for my husband’s corporation, there are 5 sponsored scholarships and this year there were more than 5 possible recipients (that may have added to the usual time table by either adding additional scholarships or determining which recipients would receive the scholarship). Letters still seem to be coming out, good luck! Also National Merit had a reply date by 4/14 as the corporate sponsored press release is scheduled for 4/19.

Still waiting, but assuming it’s “no” now.
@TheGFG Yeah, probably a “no” at this point. Disappointing since I applied to a relatively large corporation’s fund, but $2500-4000 isn’t a game-changer in the long run.
