<p>Has anyone heard from NMSC regarding the NMS scholarship? They said "late January or early February," and I'm going crazy waiting to find out if I made finalist! <em>emits primal scream that gets him kicked out of the library</em> But seriously, does anyone know yet?</p>
<p>I know that I shouldn't be worried; that 93% of all semi-finalists make finalist. But I'm human. Deal with it.</p>
<p>This says that they begin selecting finalists Jan. 21st. High school principals will be notified on Feb. 2nd, and finalists will be notified at home Feb. 7th.</p>

<p>It's going to depend on the school. Also be aware that many school who don't seem to have alot for NMF, have other scholarships that become available to compensate. </p>
<p>I have two nmf kids and in the three years difference in time, the offers have gotten much better from more schools for nmf kids. It's almost like getting a blue chip running back at football u. </p>
<p>At my D's school, university president made mention by name the nmf enrolled in this year's class. </p>
