<p>NYU sent me a brochure about how NMF get small seminars, special opportunities in NYC, merit scholarships, etc...</p>
<p>Anyone currently receiving these? Is it as good as they make it seem?</p>

<p>National Merit Finalist... I know NYU has quite a few of them, I'm surprised no one has responded...</p>
<p>Can't say I've been getting any of those.</p>
<p>They do have the small seminars, but anyone can get into them; that sounds more like the Presidential Scholars thing they've been running, where a few percentage get in, rather than just the NMFs.</p>
