<p>I called NMSC today to check up on my appeal and they said they had contacted my counselor. She hasn’t told me anything, so she probably hasn’t gotten the reply, which I assume will be in a letter. The person who answered my call didn’t give me any hints as to what the decision is, but I’ll speak to my counselor tomorrow

<p>What was the basis for your appeal?</p>
<p>I struggled with math anxiety for my first two years of high school and had C’s because of that and then my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in my junior year and I had to deal with that while balancing 5 APs and 2 honors. My C’s were only in Honors/AP but I guess it wasn’t enough 
I’m just sad because my top choice actually offers substantial money for National Merit unlike most schools :/</p>
