Not to go all Gollum here @collegework, but if you could convince your principal to let you borrow that book it would be the most…precious…thing…ever…
cut off was 216–GC
Wait, wait, wait… This booklet thingy… Do the homeschooler parents get the booklet??
Ok We have a NMSF in my house (AL) at a 217. (GC) I did not want to post on results link because I want to make sure to be completely accurate, Cut off is a 216 (AL)
Just joining in the conversation. My apologies, but does anyone know when will the “commended score” will be published? Are the “betting odds” 211?
Stopping by for old time’s sake. I did this roller coaster ride back in 2014. Best wishes to all! And yes, there is a book. I am the proud owner of the class of 2015 version. My GC was clueless with a capital C, but she didn’t actually give it to me until after the press release date, so maybe not so clueless. It is as Scoutsmom describes. But gosh, that would worth something to have this year’s NOW! Fingers crossed for all of you, but especially @GoAskDad who is STILL HERE!!! LOL!
Not sure we can get it.
Thanks @amyandscott it’s looking like Art’s projections are good so far…
@sushiritto , 211 has already been confirmed for Commended, sometime in the spring.
deleted double post.
@sushiritto, I believe the 211 cutoff score for Commended has been confirmed. That’s what Art says anyway.
This is so exciting. It does feel a lot like an election day, with the precincts reporting in. But much more personal!
@DiotimaDM no, homeschoolers don’t get the book and the don’t get a letter saying no one in their school made it to NMSF either:-(
@traveler98 @suzy100 Thank you. I haven’t really paid much attention and was aware that 211 was confirmed by Art some time ago. But with all the recent hubbub of activity here, I thought I’d come back and reconfirm.
Nothing over at Compass.
Art, “Wherefore Art Thou?”
I could be wrong, but I bet we have more data, or data just as quickly, as Art.
@DavidPuddy , I bet more!
Maybe Art has connections and can get the book. I believe last year the book listed each states cut off too.
1st, Congratulations!
How did the GC conclude 216 as the cut off? (I assume the letter does not tell the cut off itself). So, was there a 216 that made it in the school, and a 215 that did not? If so, your GC is very in tune with the process to have synthesized that already.
Yeah @3scoutsmom , per my question above, I assume the book does NOT explicitly list the cut offs. But maybe it does…
