<p>My school doesn't offer an AP chem class, but I would like to be able to take the Chemistry SAT II test. I'm currently in a two trimester chemistry honors class right now and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to take the test after I finish the class. Is the Chemistry SAT II test way more advanced than chemistry honors curriculum, or will I be fine as long as I study a bit more in depth with a Chemistry SAT II prep book? Also, any recommendations for prep books?</p>
<p>AP Chem is overkill for the SAT. Take it when you’re done with honors Chem. But do make sure to grab a prep book a month or two before the test to cover any topics that your course may not have gone over.</p>
