No cal grant submitted? Late option?

<p>So I just found out yesterday that I was supposed to submit a cal grant for my school, of course i am now 23 days late....I go to UCSB and I didn't know that I needed to submit a cal grant, i had just assumed it was the FASFA (which i turned in on time) and that was it. The only reason I even found out now was because my mom got an email about the Blue and Gold Plan which is where we get our finiancial aid from. the B & G plan requires a cal grant...I NEED THAT MONEY. I can't afford college without it.</p>

<p>What should I do? I can contact my old high school, thats not an issue, but will it still be accepted? I am a freshman and i haven't completed 36 units so apparently I was supposed to submit one. I didn't get a cal grant last year either so I didn't get the automatic renewal.....Please help someone, i am practically in a crisis here.</p>

<p>Blue&Gold just requires that you submitted the GPA verification form for Cal Grant, not that you actually have a Cal Grant.</p>

<p>Contact CSAC and UCSB to ask them what you should do. They will be able to tell you if you are truly SOL or if a late GPA Verification form will be accepted.</p>

<p>Hey did you ever get your cal grant? Right now I am waiting to hear back from the office. I Turned in my late GPA form about 5 or 6 weeks after the deadline.</p>
